First Things First Through Holy Habits
This year the Epiphany Season comes to end with a bang/flash with the Transfiguration of Christ. This is manifestation of the highest order - the hidden mystery of the Kingdom revealed in the glory of the King! This expresses the whole OT mission of Israel to be "light to the nations". Colossians tells us that our lives are "hidden with Christ in God" (Col 3:3). The Holy Habits (Spiritual Disciplines http://www. renovarelife.org/the- christian-disciplines/ ) help us keep first things first (the Great Commandments and the Great Commission) as we "put on the new self' (3:10), mature as disciples (1:28), are"brought to fullness" (2:10) and keep manifesting the glory of the Kingdom of Light (1:12)!
