THANK YOU, Lindy :O) I must explain the theological significance of the St George flag that I am waving - and that it has NOTHING to do with the WORLD CUP, of course!!! It is the flag of the Resurrection, as used in renaissance art etc...it was because of the Resurrection (and ascension) of Jesus that Pentecost was possible. So, the appropriate acclamation when you see the St Goerge flag is: "HE IS RISEN!" - of course you could also add: "COME ON ENGLAND"!!! ;o)
