Dear saints,As some might have heard, there is a 10K Women’s Marathon around All Saints this Sunday – CHEERS to the ladies!Thankfully, the Beirut Marathon Association (BMA) has assured me that we can still have access to church for the 11:15 service – but it will not be possible to have access for the 8:00 service, which is cancelled.ACCESS TO ALL SAINTS FOR THE 11:15 service is through the Phoenicia Tunnel:Wherever you are coming from by car, you need to make your way to the “Ring Road” (“Foaad Chehab Avenue” on Google Maps – see link at end) and through the “Phoenicia Tunnel” to get to the Monroe Hotel, where there is a BMAbarrier. Tell the attendants that you are going to All Saints’ Church and they will let you in, as agreed with Mr Waseem Terro of BMA who will have informed them (in case you need it, here is his number: 03 123 790).COMING FROM THE NORTH: Do not go straight into Downtown. At the beginning of the Charles Helou bridge take the exit right (at the statue of “The Lebanese Emigrant”) down to the Port Road. At the main intersection before Martyrs’ Square take a left up to the “Ring Road” (past “Paul” café) - turn right onto the “Ring Road” and through the “Phoenicia Tunnel” (as above).
COMING FROM HAMRA: Make your way to the Ring Road via Spears Road above Hamra.COMING FROM THE SOUTHERN HIGHWAY: Do the usual thing! :O)Safe travels! We gather this Sunday to celebrate “Trinity Sunday”!
in His eternal love,Nabil
