Warm greetings to you all. What a hot summer we are having!  Thankfully though the new air conditioning units in the church work well, and so we invite you to join us for fellowship and worship on Sunday mornings in the cool.  Our services are still at 11:00am each week, followed by tea, coffee or a cold drink over a chat in the hall downstairs. This Sunday 29th is our contemporary all age service, and the 4th week in our series on the Fruit of the Spirit.

The Youth Group (Grade 6 to 11) are having their own program with John Masri, and the younger children have activities available at the back of the church. All are welcome.

Coming in August:
5th - Holy Communion  11:00am
12th - Worship and Word 11:00am
19th - Holy Communion 11:00am
26th - Morning Praise All Age service  11:00am

Pentecost Sunday with Community Lunch

Today we celebrate the birth of the church, and remember Pentecost, the coming of Holy Spirit on his people.

Pentecost Community Lunch

On May 27th we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, and to help us do that we will be having a community pot luck lunch after the service.  We would love all those who are able, to bring a dish from their home country or just a favorite, to share with the church community.  Please email or speak to Sarah Shehadi sarahgshehadi@gmail.com and let her know what kind of dish you will bring to make sure we have a good mix of savoury and sweet.  If you can come to church wearing yellow, orange or red, that will add to the atmosphere of the service, reminding us of the flames of the spirit that came on God's people.

We will also be saying our farewells to a number of people from the congregation who will be moving on from Lebanon this summer. It is a time to thank God for them and their part in this church family, and to send them with our love and blessings. If you know people who will be leaving or if you yourselves are planning to leave, please email and let us know, we don't want to miss anyone!

Autumn Preaching Series - Training in the wilderness (TitW)

One of the overarching themes in the Bible is The People of God – God calling a people for Himself. We see this theme from the call of Abraham and the Exodus (Ex 6:7) to Revelation (21:3).This series will look at the lessons the 12 tribes learned after the Exodus, during the wilderness wanderings, about their relationship with God. This will help us at All Saints (from all tribes and all nations!), at the beginning of this new term, to understand our identity as the people of God. We will celebrate this, of course, on All Saints’ Day. The narrative from the Book of Numbers will form the basic reference – other scripture passages (Epistle and Gospel) to be chosen by the preachers.
